Scope of Practice
- Provide/dispense medication to patients for the highest quality and service consistent with accepted ethical, legal and professional practices
- Check all prescriptions for appropriate medications, dosages, frequency and routes of administration
- Counsel the patient how to take their medication and answering any queries for the patient or family about their medication in as private environment as possible
- Report any medication error by filling the medication error form
- To minimize and monitor possible Medication errors, adverse drug reactions & Allergy of all drug
- To perform education, training and competency assessment activities with pharmacy staff so as to maintain quality practice
- Maintaining stock and storing and handling medication properly
Qualification
- Bachelor for six years after high school in clinical pharmacy
- Diploma for three and half years after high school in pharmacy
- Diploma for two and half years after high school in pharmacy
